About Us...

Several years ago my wife brought home an English Mastiff puppy and from that day on my life has changed. It is a hobby that has become an obsession. We are now both thoroughly addicted to this breed.

We had our first two litters under our breeder's kennel name of Maximillion and did so well that we decided to venture out on our own ~ we changed our name to Celtics' and the rest is history!

We insist on Celtics' dogs being house dogs and "part of the family". Because of this we limit the amount we keep to six. 

Recently, Celtics took on new partners,  Suzie and Larie Mears, who have  been very good and close friends for many years and are impeccable breeders. We felt that we were getting overloaded with the pups we wanted to keep and being that we were so close, we decided to join forces. We lovingly refer to Suzie and Larie as Celtics South!! Suzie and Larie have brought 5 of their pups from their first litter to champions and has made Ch. Celtics Starstruck Sabrina  the top producing mastiff for 2002. We definitely breed for quality not quantity.
